The Barkers Wine Bar & Bistro was formally known in Hawthorn as ‘The Beehive’, a local watering hole for residents. Since new owner Damian Ahearne has taken over, The Barkers has seen it go from a pub into one of Hawthorn’s most prestigious restaurants.
Offering beautiful food and an amazing selection of wines, The Barker’s needed an online presence in order to reach new customers, Requiem Media built the website using WordPress which allowed them to add and remove menu items and also post upcoming events. We also implemented an online booking system for them, they thought that was pretty cool!!
